I work in the Global Journey Transformation organization, where the ambition is to deliver exceptional customer and employee experience by leveraging simplification, new technologies, cross-functional working, and investing in future skills. I am part of the team that focuses on the Select and Buy customer journey.

As a change manager, my main responsibility is to drive global awareness, desire, and adoption of the digital capability developed and enabled by global transformation initiatives. Hence my role and participation are not limited to the cross-collaborating team in our organization but also to closely work with end users/customers to understand their needs and requirements and help to translate those into concrete actions. This requires frequent interaction with both Ericsson customers and employees in market areas and business areas to diagnose change needs and facilitate change.

 Moreover, I take part in planning, building, and executing strategic and tactical communication activities to build awareness and desire among target groups and stakeholders.

Trying to change people’s way of working, habits, and daily routines have never been easy. It requires understanding their needs and expectations but you should also position yourself as a trusted and indispensable advisor, and no need to say lots of hard work.

However, after a successful delivery and hearing people’s pleasure and gladness, the joy of success is incomparable. We, as a team, are addressing a very complex part of the transformation journey, and the feedback that we hear is we are on the right track, and this will have a very positive impact on our colleagues’ daily work. It gives me the energy to strive more and take the next steps.

As an Ericsson employee for over 15 years, I had the chance to work for various organizations, in different countries and with people who have different cultures, approaches, and backgrounds. I work within the Global Journey Transformation team (GJT), driving simplification to improve both our customer and employee experience. I am part of a cross functional team that is committed to removing complexity and making things easier for our employees day-to-day. Here we all share a passion for innovation, transformation, agile and continuous improvement across Ericsson.

In this role I collaborate closely with both our employees and key stakeholders to understand their needs and to facilitate essential change. I manage strategic, tactical planning and execution for global transformation initiatives that are improving our employee experience. I am also working with peers in our Change Chapter, to support with continuous improvement of our own ways of working and best practice sharing.

We have recently launched a brand-new tool, known as Career Hub, that simplifies how our colleagues search and apply to internal jobs. It has taken enormous team effort to be able to finally make this available to everyone and the results so far are incredible. It is so rewarding to finally see this tool helping people with their career management and allowing them to make fact-based decisions for their future. This is just the start, we have so much more coming!

I love that we have an opportunity to tackle complex problems head on, we are always challenging ourselves and striving to be the best. I think the GJT is an excellent example of how we are putting our customers and employees at the heart of everything we do. We have the chance to truly listen and design solutions around the needs of both these groups. I think that’s an exciting place to be.
