Vesa Lehtovirta

Vesa has over 20 years of experience of working with mobile networks. He has been active in mobile network security standardization and has participated in the work of the 3GPP SA3 (security group) since 2002. He has worked with topics ranging from radio interface security to application layer security. Currently his main focus is 6G security standardization.

In 2020, Vesa won the Ericsson Inventor of the Year award.

Vesa holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the then Helsinki University of Technology, today Aalto University, Finland.
